Tea42 Caffeinated Hair Products: Review

Most of us reach for coffee or tea to get our morning and afternoon boosts. Did you know that studies have shown that caffeine can also be beneficial to our skin and hair by improving circulation, providing nourishment and combating harsh environmental factors? Enter Tea42, a new hair product line of caffeinated sulfate free shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner. The powerhouse ingredient behind these products are caffeine along with green tea, mint, antioxidants and vitamins designed to replenish and rejuvenate dry, damaged hair and aid in the production of new hair growth.

I've been using the Tea42 product line for the past few weeks and saw immediate results. My hair was softer, shiner and full of body. The shampoo is not a lathery shampoo and a little goes a long way. Like a conditioner, you leave it on your head for a few minutes before rinsing. The mint is invigorating and gives your head a little tingle. Follow up with the conditioner that you leave in for 3-5 minutes before rinsing and your left with silky hair and no detangling needed. The third product in this line is the root spray. Spray on towel dried hair in 2 inch sections, let stand for a few minutes then comb through and style your hair as normal. I opted to forgo my other styling products to see the full effects of this leave in conditioner. My hair dried quicker, was less frizzy and felt lightweight and styled to perfection!

All three of these products smell amazing and are organic, paraben free, sulfate free cruelty free. Try them out yourself by clicking here and use promo code TEA42DIP!

Eyelash & Lips Graphic Tee

This eyelash and lips graphic tee from SheIn is a new favorite of mine! It's so fun and I love that it has a glam and girly flair. Another love is distressed denim. It's been part of my uniform lately and I'm all for a comfy casual look as we head into winter. You don't have to sacrifice style for comfort, add a pair of booties to style it up and top off the look with a cardigan and you are ready to head out the door!

Do you dress up on Thanksgiving day? I'm always torn on what to wear. For our family, it's a casual affair, but I feel like I should make an effort for the occasion. The Mr. smokes a turkey on the Big Green Egg and everyone brings a delicious side dish. If the weather cooperates we take the dog on a long walk and then proceed to watch classics like Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and The Wizard of Oz! This trapeze dress is the perfect solution. The classic A-line, swingy cut is flattering and the soft and stretchy fabric will not impede with me eating the day away! The only accessories needed are a faux fur scarf and a bold, classic watch.

Despite my phone and other devices reminding me of the time, I still think a watch is a stylish and functional accessory. AIBI watches recently sent me the Julia Engel Miami watch. The crystal detail on the face adds a touch of elegance to this vintage piece with it's golden brown band and rose gold casing.

The story behind AIBI started at a high end jewelry and watch party, where the founder met a man who was wearing a simple style watch. They fell in love and created the watch brand AIBI! Not only does AIBI symbolize love, it also stands for friendship, cooperation, success and the beauty of life!

AIBI is offering a $20 off discount with the code JILLG
With the holidays right around the corner, an AIBI watch would make a great gift!

I've been obsessed with the fringe trend since last years Project Runway winner, Sean Kelly, styled his NYFW collection with an abundance of fringe. Despite my love for this trend, I didn't have any fringe in my closet until recently with the addition of this fringe coat and now the Olive You Too top from the Pumps and Pushups Collection. When I saw Brooke wearing this top a few weeks ago on her blog, I immediately went to their site to order it. The rich olive color is on trend for fall and the high/low hem with the fringe detail on the sides takes this top from ordinary to fun. I was not alone, Carrie ordered it too so make sure you visit her blog today to see how she is styling her Olive You Too top!

Trending Now - Plaid

Welcome to the monthly "How I Style It" linkup!

This month's theme is #plaidaboutit! We would love to see how you are styling plaid this season! Link-up with us below and be sure to check out all of your hosts posts for some plaid fashion inspiration!

I don't know about you, but when I think of fall, I automatically think plaid. Plaid has it's place in history from Scottish kilts to 90's grunge, but today's plaid is a wardrobe staple and is probably in almost everyones closet. Tops, coats, pants, sweaters and scarves, plaid is everywhere! Wear it alone or as a layer, mix it with another pattern or texture, the styling options are endless. What better way to create a casual style for everyday than with a plaid flannel shirt! The olive vest contrasts nicely against the pink and navy plaid and the dark denim and tall boots takes the look up a notch. How are you wearing plaid?

Easy Stylish Hair & Giveaway

Have you heard of Lilla Rose hair accessories? I was recently introduced to the Lilla Rose Flexi Clip and was delighted with how easy it was to style my hair with it. Bonus that it held comfortably all day! The Flexi Clip is a flexible barrette that comes in seven different sizes to accommodate any hair thickness and length. Their clips are ornate and beautifully designed, they are super flexible and easy to use. I love that it's a stylish alternative to a regular pony tail holder or clip. I have fine, wavy hair and I ordered the small in the diamond style which has a vintage vibe to it. Scroll down to see the three styles I created!

Everything is better with a bow on it and this darling bow top from J.Crew Factory is no different! I was excited to wear it when I bought it back in September and it's been on repeat with shorts and boyfriend jeans. I work from home but when I have a work meeting, luckily we have the option to dress business casual. The bow top pairs perfectly with black cropped pants and the leopard booties add a fun element to this work appropriate look. After seeing my blogging friends with great finds from ifchic over the past few months, I finally joined. It's easy to collect the ifchic coins and I was able to purchase this pebbled leather tote that retailed for $129 for less than $15 dollars! If you have not checked this site out yet, you need to ASAP!

Confident Tuesday - Fringe Coat

Happy Tuesday! I'm excited today to be joining Laura from I do deClaire, to co-host Confident Tuesday! Laura has amazing style and lives just over the border from me. We met up for shopping last fall and she is so sweet and down to earth in person as she is in blogland! Scroll down below to linkup up with us!

I've been obsessed with fringe this fall and when I saw this khaki fringe coat from SheIn, I knew it would be a great addition to my closet. The khaki color is versatile and it's lightweight and perfect for layering. For less than $30, you can't beat the price! Keeping a neutral theme, I layered the fringe coat over my camo jeans, a simple v-neck sweater and added a little bling. The result was a warm and stylish look for a crisp fall day!
