Do you have your cookies baked, shopping complete, and gifts wrapped? Or are you like me and keep buying one more present? My biggest chore I need to get a handle on is baking eight dozen of 3 different cookie recipes for our family cookie exchange. Our college girl came home earlier this week, and my heart is full! And, now I also have a helper! Anyway, today I wanted to share my floral velvet jumpsuit with you!
I was stalking a dress that I had my eye on at Anthropologie when I came across this floral number in the freshly cut sale section. I immediately fell in love and knew this floral velvet jumpsuit would be my go-to for holiday get-togethers and our Christmas Eve party. I really wanted to venture out of my back yard for my holiday outfit photos and found the perfect spot. So I headed out with my camera and tripod early before the stores opened to ensure less passerby’s.
Of course, the good ole’ Chicago temps had significantly dropped overnight, and it was 15 degrees outside with I was shooting these pics! Don’t mind my red hands! The things we do for our blogs! 🤷 Anyway, you could easily transition this jumpsuit to a daytime look by layering a neutral pullover sweater over it or a form-fitting tee under it. Or add a blazer for the office, and a moto, or jean jacket for a date night!
