Oh, my gosh! I had to chuckle about the wooden sole clogs! I wore them in high school back in the 70s as did every other girl. The hallways were so noisy because, of course, they weren't carpeted then. I would love a pair of ballet flats or Mary Janes, but they have to have lots of support. I'm still looking.
