What a beautiful transformation. Good grief, you got such a deal on the flooring. And it is so rich and warm looking. Love the variety of colors in the wood. So so so much better than wall-to-wall carpet. I am dying to get rid of our carpeting. Hoping maybe this fall I can persuade PC to allow me to make that happen.

I prefer the contrast with the white and that lovely teal. Thinking it might make the room very dark if you paint the trim and ceiling teal, too. That framed TV is genius. We enjoy having our photos display on our Google devices. Watching them scroll through on the TV would be super cool.

I love this makeover! What a steal on the flooring, and it looks beautiful. The molding added sophistication. Indirect lighting is always a plus. And I love the teal. But then I have a teal paint in my house too. As for painting the trim, I personally would not, because I much the contrast of the teal and white. But that’s me.

Jill, this is amazing!!! It makes your bedroom look so big which is the opposite of what the "experts" always say. I love the idea of color drenching and would love to do it in one of the rooms here. We have textured ceilings, though, so I think it would take a lot! I just love that deep, dark color and the new floor and the rug and the sconces and everything! Truly incredible. And so smart to take advantage when the flooring store was going out of business.
I've been thinking of getting some of those molding kits for our doors, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
