Ipsy Glam Bag Review – November 2014

Happy Friday!  It’s time for my monthly review of the Ipsy Glam Bag. If you aren’t familiar with Ipsy, it’s is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription where you get five full or deluxe size samples of a variety of products and a cute makeup bag all for $10! You never know what you’ll get and I’ve been lucky to receive a great selection of products almost every month so far. Here’s what I got in mine this month:

SeaRx Birch Sap Moisturizing Lotion

This was a tiny sample and I used it up over a weekend. The citrus smell was pleasant and it absorbed quickly. My skin is extremely dry in the winter and my skin did not feel moisturized all day. I think if I was trying this in the summer months, I would like it better.

Verdict:

Startlooks Gem Eye Pencil

This was a full size product and I received the Ultra Olive color. It glided on my eyelid, blended well and was highly pigmented.

Verdict:

J. Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint

This was also a full size product and I received the Mad Splatter color. The rich berry color is perfect for fall. It did not come with an applicator and will stain your fingers so a lip brush is a must. This product also bleeds so I also recommend using a lip liner. Overall, I did not like this lip stain and prefer a lipstick or gloss.

Verdict:

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray

I love products that have argan oil in them. It smells great, it’s not sticky and has great hold. It gives your hair a nice shine without being greasy. I would definitely buy this product in the future.

Verdict:

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye

A little bit of this product goes a long way. It’s very tacky and needs to be warmed up to blend well. It gives you awesome coverage and a matte finish. Because it’s so think, when using under my eyes, I mixed it with a little eye cream.

Verdict:

What did you get in your Ipsy Glam bag this month?
