Thanksgiving is right around the corner and in addition to planning the menu, we also need to think about our outfits. Do you like to dress up on turkey day or keep your attire comfortable? It’s always a laid back occasion in our home. My husband smokes the turkey on his big green egg, and the day is spent watching football and hanging out. We have a few family members over for an early dinner, and with everyone bringing a side dish, it’s a low-stress day. Today I wanted to share a Thanksgiving outfit for a casual gathering.
This sweater is one of my only buys from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale over the summer. I actually debated sending it back, but now I’m glad that I kept it. It’s soft, cozy and the Sahara color is the perfect fall hue. My outfit formula is simple: a sweater, comfortable jeans, scarf, and sneakers. My burgundy Vans fit right in with the fall color theme for my Thanksgiving outfit for a casual gathering!
