What We’re Eating This Week
I’ve taken a back seat with cooking dinner lately. We’re still in substitution mode with our daughter’s diet, and luckily the hubs is great with throwing meals together that accommodate her restrictions.
What I’m Reminiscing About
We’ve been looking at old photo albums as a family and came across my senior photo! It’s funny that back then my idea of dressing up was a button down oxford!
What I’m Loving
I usually use a tanning mousse and was intrigued when I read about Isle of Paradise tanning drops. This product is a game changer! You can use it on your face and body. I add two drops to my facial moisturizer and several drops to my body moisturizer for healthy looking tan. The more drops you add, the darker your tan. It lasts a few days and smells like cucumber. Plus, it has Sephora’s clean stamp of approval!
What We’ve Been Up To
Last Friday, I met Laura from I Do deClaire for the E|3 Collection anniversary party. E|3 is a Chicago based retail store that houses several local designers. It was a fun party with food, cocktails, live music, and this fun mirror photo booth!
What I’m Dreading
Absolutely nothing!
What I’m Working On
One of the things on my to-do list since I’ve returned to blogging is to update my About page and logo to include Life & Style. I’m finally checking that off, and you can read my new About section here! Next is to update my Linkup list. What I’m Excited About
I’m starting to plan our daughter’s graduation party. The mirror photo booth is a definite contender, these are teenagers, after all! I’m also throwing around the idea of a taco truck and a Friends theme inspired by this pin!
What’ I’m Watching
Game of Thrones! The final season is finally here! It’s funny because initially, I had no interest in watching this series, but my sister and brother-in-law said, watch 3 episodes then decide. So we did, and I was hooked! Do you watch this series?
What I’m Listening To
I’ve switched up my workout music this month from upbeat power songs to classic 80’s pop songs. Gotta love a-ha, Soft Cell and Flock of Seagulls…
What I’m Wearing
Still wearing sweaters but most days it’s without the winter coat! If you’re not already, I’d love it if you followed me on Instagram where you’ll find more outfit inspiration!
What I’m Doing This Weekend
Last weekend was beautiful and in the high 70’s. Hoping the weather will cooperate again so I can get more yard work done and sit in the sun with a good book!

Year-end activities! Prom parents dinner, a show-choir concert, senior honors ceremony, and graduation!
