When I think of tie dye, I think of Grateful Dead concerts and 70’s fashion. Growing up, every summer my friends and I would tie dye shirts in the back yard and then have a fashion show for our parents. Even when my daughter was younger, tie dying shirts was a popular activity for school and girl scout projects. This retro trend is making a comeback and going strong this spring. Tie dye has been reinvented and it’s not just tees anymore. Pieces are sophisticated and the colors are more muted. You can find these playful prints everywhere from home decor to clothing.

This tie dye maxi dress caught my eye when I was browsing at PinkBlush online boutique and I had to snatch it up! I love the retro vibe combined with the cold shoulder sleeves. The fabric is super soft with a little bit of stretch and it feels like a dream. This versatile piece is something I can also dress up by adding a belt and statement necklace and I know it will be on repeat all summer long.

PinkBlush offers the latest trends with affordability in mind. Pink Blush has generously offered Doused in Pink readers 15% off your next purchase with code DOUSEDINPINK
