Currently {September 2016}

My last Currently post was right around the first day of summer. With the first day of fall approaching this week, it seemed timely to share what’s been going on with me the past new months!

Feeding 40 hungry high school girl swimmers for the season’s first pasta party. 9 pounds of pasta, two trays of salad and 12 feet of garlic bread eaten! We had thunderstorms all day and I was worried that I would have to have the party indoors. Thankfully, the sun came out late afternoon and everything proceeded as planned! It would have been complete chaos with all of those girls in the house!

Speaking of high school swimming, I’m having so much fun watching this incredible group of girls every week! It’s truly a team environment and I love seeing how supportive they are of each other!

More swimming…I swim for an hour, 3 – 4 days a week but I always have a better workout when my friend Jeannine joins me! We push each other and tend to do more interval training and harder sets when we are together!

Loving Deva Curl Wave Maker. In my last Currently post, I had just been introduced to Deva Curl products for wavy hair. They recently added Wave Maker, a styling product to give you frizz free waves that last all day. Psst…this is also a sneak peek for my #ThursdayFashionFiles look this week!

Watching Stranger Things on Netflix. If you haven’t watched this yet, go download and binge watch this week. You won’t be disappointed! I cannot wait for season 2!

Traveling to Rhode Island for a work meeting. I work on a virtual team so we don’t see each other very often. A fun scavenger hunt was planned night one to explore Providence and we relaxed and dined harbor side night two! My friend Cigdem and I couldn’t help but take a selfie with this gorgeous view!

Eating lobster rolls. When I’m on the east coast I can’t resist a fresh lobster roll. They’re so tasty, I ordered one two nights in a row!

Wearing business casual is not always easy when you can wear whatever you like working from home. Here’s a few of my workwear looks!

Excited thatthisblog post was selected for a free Facebook ad which drove new traffic to my blog over the summer!
