Pin-Spired – January 2015

Happy New Year! Did you have a fun NYE? We stayed in the neighborhood and went to a friend’s party. They have younger kids so they did a ball drop at 8pm. While I miss our daughter being that age, it was nice to relax, hang out, and not have to worry about chasing a little one around!

With the arrival of the new year, it’s time for another round of Pin-Spired outfits. Linking up with Pinterest Told Me ToMix and Match Family & The Larson Lingo. All of my recreations are from pieces I already have in my closet.

Pin-Spiration #1

Red sweater/plaid scarf/dark jeans/brown boots

My Recreation

Sweater / Jeans / Scarf / Boots / Aviators

I wore this on Christmas Day. After lounging all morning in our pj’s, we were headed to my sister’s house for tapas and games. I wanted to be casual and comfy and this did the trick. I love it when you see a style board and you have everything in your closet to recreate it. I decided to swap out the plaid scarf for my cozy faux fur scarf.

Pin-Spiration #2

Heart Sweater/black and white skirt/black tights/black booties

My Recreation

Star Sweater (option/low) / Star Sweater (option/high) / Skirt / Scarf (option) / Booties / Aviators

I made this work for me by swapping the heart for stars and a black skirt

for the black and white. I added a scarf to add some texture to this cozy look.

Pin-Spiration #3

Buffalo plaid top/military jacket/dark jeans/leopard flats

My Recreation

Shirt / Jacket (option) / Jeans / Flats (option) / Necklace (option) / Aviators

It was 50 degrees out in December so I was happy to wear flats

and a lighter jacket but wow, my feet look really pale!
