September Style Budget

Hello Fall! I’m ready for sweaters, boots and maybe a caramel apple cider from Starbucks! After evaluating my closet, I found that I had an abundance of basics but nothing too interesting. This month I focused on adding pieces that were unique yet still versatile. Here’s where my dollars went in September:

Untitled #41

September budget: $50

Carryover from August: $40

Total budget: $90

Total spent: $53.50

Under budget: $36.50

The Layered Swing Tank was a discovery while my daughter was trying on homecoming dresses at Anthropologie. The print transitions well to fall and I love the layered, open swing back. I’ll be wearing this under a cardigan with a scarf for fall and winter.

I received the Heart Print Striped Sweater through a collaboration with SheIn. It’s a casual weekend sweater that I’ve been wearing with shorts and jeans. See my post here.

J. Crew Factory Rolled Sleeve Tee with Bow How adorable is this bow tee? This is a piece that can be dressed up or down and you can’t beat the price!

J.Crew Factory Striped Tee I was drawn to the amber color and contrasting cuffs.Earlier this summer, I noticed I was well stocked with graphic tees and banned myself from buying more. Now I’m seeing a pattern with stripes…

Did you stick to your budget this month?
