Have you heard of Glossybox? It’s a beauty subscription service similar to Ipsy and Sephora Play that gives you five luxury sized samples of makeup, hair and skincare products from niche, high-end and emerging brands. The cost is $21/month and the curated products come in an unique, reusable keepsake box. They also have 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions making the cost even less. Glossybox sent me the September box to try. Let’s see what was inside!
The box itself was a special fashion edition design and was gorgeous! With a secret garden theme, the box included prestige products beauty insiders were keeping in their beauty bags for last minute touchups for shows at fashion week.
Sally Hershberger 24K Supreme Stylist Dry Shampoo (full size $32). I have a favorite dry shampoo but this one works just as well. My hair felt refreshed and it gave a little extra volume ad shine.
Sesderma Sensyses Eye Makeup Remover (full size $20) & Moisturizing Serum (full size $52). The eye makeup remover is non-greasy and did a good job, even with waterproof mascara. A little goes a long way with the serum. It absorbed quickly and my skin felt smooth and silky.
Korres Modern Greek Apothecary Twist Lipstick (full size $18). I’m a fan of Korres skincare and was excited to try this lipstick. I received Allure, a rich red. It’s creamy, hydrating and has great pigmentation.
Modellauncher Brow Duo Pencil (full size $12). I love a good brow pencil and the taupe color was perfect for my skintone. But it was not very pigmented and I have other pencils that do a better job.
Vince Camuto Capri Eau de Parfum (full size $85). This light floral fragrance has a hint of citrus to it. Floral scents are not for me, but my daughter loved it!
