Chadwicks of Boston
In the late ’80s, long before online shopping, I loved catalog shopping. I remember the excitement when a new catalog came in the mail from retailers like Chadwicks of Boston. It was fun flipping through and shopping the catalog. They offered everything I needed at the time, starting in my career – quality pieces in classic styles at amazing prices. I was recently re-introduced to Chadwicks of Boston and was happy to hear that they are still bringing you affordable clothing from workwear to trends to try. They offer timeless and versatile looks in sizes ranging from misses to petite and tall and, plus size, all pictured together. One of my favorite pieces from Chadwicks this fall is a suede dress, and today, I’m sharing how to style it.
I love the suede trend for fall, and this rich, brandy suede-like dress was calling my name. It’s super soft, and the slimming a-line cut is flattering on every body type. Bonus that it’s machine washable, and no trip to the dry cleaners is needed! For general guidelines for washing your suede items, click here.
When I’m picking out something new for my wardrobe, I want it to be versatile and wear it multiple ways. This suede dress was perfect for a work meeting, but I could also style it for a fun weekend look as well. Keep scrolling to see how I styled my suede dress from workwear to weekend.
Fall and layers go hand in hand, and for workwear, I layered my suede dress over a crisp, white button-down. A chain necklace, tights, and booties were all that were needed to complete this polished look.
I swapped the necklace for a scarf for a chic weekend look, ditched the tights, and added fun fringe booties. The moto jacket adds some interest and gives this outfit a nice edge.
