The New Year is all about fresh starts and the January GlossyBox is chocked full of beauty products to take care of your skin and bring back your natural glow! I’m excited to share what was inside and my review!
If you are new to GlossyBox, it’s a beauty subscription service that gives you five luxury sized samples of makeup, hair and skincare products from niche, high-end and emerging brands. The cost is $21/month and the curated products come in an unique, reusable keepsake box.
Universal Beauty Cosmetics Secret Flush (full size $20). This cream blush and lip stain duo reminds me of my Tarte Blushing Bride cheek stain. It’s extremely smooth and easy to blend and the Nectar shade is a rosy pink.
Verdict:
oOlution Eye Love (full size $37). This eye cream is 100% naturally derived with over 65 active ingredients. It’s lightweight, gentle and hydrating.
Verdict:
The Seaweed Bath Co Detox + Age Defying Marine Night Therapy (full size $49). The consistency is more like a balm and it melts into your skin to hydrate and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Verdict:
La Theorie Des Volcans Noir Eternae Youth Potion Face Scrub (full size $32). This scrub mask was interesting to try. It has the consistency of a paste and when applied, your skin turns grey. Then when you massage to exfoliate, you see your skin renewed and glowing.
Verdict:
Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber (full size $5). This body scrubber is dual sided with one for gentle cleaning and a coarser side for exfoliating. The label also has an indicator that fades when it’s time to replace.
Verdict:
Overall I’m pleased with the January GlossyBox! Of the five products, four were full size and valued at $94! My favorite product was the Secret Flush. The shade is so pretty, I loved how smooth it was and easy to build on and blend. I also was a fan of the face scrub!
