Buffalo plaid has been a favorite of mine for years. I love the bold print and I was happy to find it the form of this cozy coat from Old Navy (it’s now sold out but I linked up a similar option below). It’s perfect as a layering piece to wear indoors and outdoors for those “warmer” winter days. While some will say that buffalo plaid reminds them of a lumberjack, I say it all comes down to styling. The criss-cross detail on this top gives your basic tee an interesting twist and the leather earrings make a statement of their own. I couldn’t complete the outfit without a little pattern mixing so my leopard booties were the finishing touch!
