How was your week? We just got back from a quick two day vacay in Chicago so our daughter could do some back to school shopping. We try to see a play or musical a few times a year and when my girlfriend told me about Spamilton, a hilarious spoof on Hamilton, I knew we needed to see it while we were downtown. I saw Hamilton in December and you absolutely do not need to see it to appreciate this satire! Check it out if you are in Chicago or New York!
Today I wanted to show you two pieces that I purchased at the Nordstrom anniversary sale. This dress is one of my favorites that I grabbed. Believe it or not, I did not have a LBD in my closet until this summer when I bought this maxi dress. I wanted another black dress that would be a staple and couldn’t resist the ruffle sleeves and the pockets on this one! Better still, it’s on sale for under $30 and comes in five colors! I’m obsessed with these booties with the geometric perforations and side cutout. They are on sale for under $90 and look really cute with everything from dresses to jeans.
