Giving Thanks

Hi Friends! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy but I did get one day where I was able to chill and finished reading Fruit of the Drunken Tree! Can you believe it’s already November? Today I’m joining The Blended Blog  for their Giving Thanks Edition of TBB Asks. The prompts are highlighted below, so if you’re a blogger, join us! If you’re not a blogger, I’d love it if you participated through the comments!

Have you ever kept a Gratitude Journal? Yes or No?

No, but it’s a habit I’d like to start because sometimes focusing on the good takes effort. It’s easy to take things for granted.

Hosting Thanksgiving at your house? Yes or No?

Yes, we host every year and this year will be extra good because my sister is coming to visit Thanksgiving weekend! Click here for the tutorial on how to make these gold leaf placecards!

Favorite Food from the Thanksgiving Meal?

It’s all about the stuffing. The hubs makes three varieties of stuffing: traditional with sausage, prosciutto and vegetarian.

What one thing in Nature are you most grateful for?

I’ll never tire of looking at colorful fall leaves.

Pumpkin Pie: Yes or No?

Yes! My SIL makes the best pumpkin pie!

Traditional Cookbook: Yes or No?

Yes. The New Basics is my go-to.

Oven Baked or Deep-Fried Turkey?

Neither – the hubs smokes our turkey on the Big Green Egg!

Thanksgiving Leftovers: Yes or No?

Yes, love a good turkey sandwich on toasted bread with stuffing, cranberries and gravy!

What is one household product you are most grateful for?

Norwex Enviro Cloth

Are you most grateful for home cooked meals or restaurant meals?

It’s fun to go out but home cooked are the best!

That’s a wrap! Thank you for reading!
