Do you ever watch the old Twilight Zone series from the early ’60s? Last weekend was so strange I felt like I was in a Twilight Zone episode! Friday was a beautiful day and I shot these photos on Friday evening. Saturday the temps dropped, and we got 2 1/2 inches of snow! Sunday it was sunny and warm. By afternoon, all of the snow had melted, and it was like Saturday never happened!
Anyway, I’m hoping that spring is finally on the horizon and I can finally ditch my winter boots and start wearing sandals again. When Secret Celebrity reached out to me to style a few pairs of their summer sandals I immediately said yes! They design footwear that’s on trend, comfortable and affordable. I’ve worked with them in the past here and here.
Today I’m styling the Emily. Espadrille wedges have to be the perfect spring and summer shoe. They’re flattering, versatile and comfortable! These are wedges you can walk in and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a heel. Plus, they give me some much-needed height. They look great with virtually everything, so styling with jeans, dresses, maxi’s, skirts, shorts is a piece of cake. They also offer this style in black and beige. They run a slightly big, so I sized down 1/2 size. I’ll be styling another pair of sandals from Secret Celebrity next week!
