The ruching not only adds a fun detail, but it camouflages your midsection and makes it super flattering on every body type. I also love the tulip hem. It comes in multiple colors and also comes in a long-sleeve version. For me, the sleeveless was a more versatile option since I can add layers in the fall and winter months. Today I wanted to show you 4 ways to wear a ruched dress with pieces you probably already have in your closet that transition from summer to fall.
Ruched Dress | Casual Summer Outfit
Even though the temps are high, it’s always freezing indoors with air conditioning. I created a sporty outfit by wrapping a light cardigan around my waist and then adding a baseball hat and sneaker. This outfit is ideal for running errands, going to the farmer’s market, or a summer festival.

Adding a flowy kimono takes this outfit up a notch and adds a breezy vibe. I added some gold accessories and lace-up sandals to complete the look. This outfit is perfect for a shower, girls night, or date night.

Camo goes with virtually everything and adds a fun element. If you don’t have a camo jacket, any utility jacket will do. I accessorized with neutral jewelry and my favorite Van’s slides.
