What I’m Reminiscing About
Life before 2020. It seems like so long ago, and I still don’t have my head wrapped around our new normal. Anyone else feel like they’re stuck in an episode of Black Mirror?
What I’m Loving

What We’ve Been Up To
I’m so grateful to live in a neighborhood with a lake. We spend at least one day of our weekend on the kayak or paddleboard.
Thank goodness for outdoor dining. It’s a much-needed change from curbside pickup and feels so good to get out once in a while. We have a mask mandate in Illinois, so masks are required until you get to your table. Overall I’ve felt pretty safe when we’ve gone out.
What I’m Watching
We just finished The Morning Show on Apple TV + and loved it. This series stars Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carell and is based on the cut-throat world of morning news TV. I think like everyone else in the country, we watched Hamilton on Disney Plus. We saw the production in the theater a few years ago, and I enjoyed it on the TV screen just as much.
What I’m Wearing

What I’m Doing This Weekend
The best part of blogging is meeting other bloggers in real life, and I’m excited to meet up with Lisa from Evolving 50 for some socially distanced coffee on Saturday!
What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month
Even with a college-age daughter, I still love back to school shopping with her. Clothes, school supplies, dorm decor, it never gets old!
What Else is New
Last week I rounded up some easy eco-friendly swaps to make at home, all from Amazon. And, since we can’t have a spa day at the salon right now, yesterday I posted on how to create a spa day at home. Tomorrow I’ll be back styling a striped tee-shirt dress 6 ways for my Thursday Fashion Files linkup with Carrie. I hope you’ll stop back and join us!
