Essential Oils Recipes to Try Right Away

I’m back again this month, partnering with Simply Earth to share their September Essential Oils Recipe Box! If you’re unfamiliar, Simply Earth Essential Oils are globally sourced and tested for 100% purity. Plants are grown throughout the best regions where they will thrive. After they are harvested, they collect the natural essential oils through cold-pressing or steam distillation. Simply Earth’s mission is to make your home natural at an affordable price.

What is Simply Earth?

The Simply Earth Essential Oils Recipe Box is a monthly subscription box with all the ingredients, containers, and extras you need to make five natural essential oil recipes. It’s great if you love natural DIY products but don’t have time to gather all the ingredients! But you don’t need a subscription to purchase from Simply Earth. They sell their oils individually as well! What I love most about this essential oil subscription box is that the recipes are simple and only take a few minutes to make.

Helping Others in Need

Simply Earth also gives back by helping people whose beauty has been abused. 13% of their profits go to help fight human trafficking. Each month they highlight one organization so you can learn more and get involved. There are 40+ million people estimated to be trapped in prostitution, and 98% are women and girls.

Simply Earth is partnering with and giving 13% to Exodus Cry in September. Exodus Cry is shifting culture, changing laws, reaching out, and creating films that change how people think about human trafficking in society. They have videos, podcast episodes, intervention kits, and more that can help you stop human trafficking in your community.

This month you’ve got everything you need to make your home smell better than ever with the “You Stinker” recipe box. Did you know that most store-bought air fresheners are filled with synthetic fragrances and toxic chemicals? With this month’s recipes, you’ll never want to return to those toxic sprays again!

Blood Orange uplifts, cleans and soothes pain

Lemon Eucalyptus repels insects and deodorizes

Clove supports focus and immune system

Defender Blend boosts immunity and kills germs

September Essential Oil Recipes:

2. Drawer Deodorizer

3. Smell Fresh Body Spray

4. Don’t Bug Me Roll-On

5. No Stink Disk

This month’s diffuser blend is Defeat the Reek, a mix of clove, lemon eucalyptus, and blood orange. This marble design diffuser is my favorite if you are in the market for a diffuser.

September Essential Oils Recipes

Mini Car Diffuser

I thought these mini diffusers were a cute way to keep your car fresh. Use a needle to thread the wool balls. I made a tassel for mine with some extra yarn. Add essential oils and hang them on your car mirror, vent, or key ring.

Drawer Deodorizer

These would be great for shoe cubbies or your gym bag. In a bowl, add essential oils to cotton balls and allow them to dry. Place cotton balls into the small cotton bag and then place them in a space you want to keep fresh.

Smell Fresh Body Spray

Add coconut oil and essential oils to a spray bottle. Shake to mix. Fill the remainder of the bottle with distilled water. To use, shake and spray to refresh yourself, your shoes, or your space.

Don’t Bug Me Roll-On

These roll-ons are so handy! I made these for several of my family members over the weekend. I love that it’s compact and a roll-on rather than a spray. Add essential oils to a roll-on bottle and swirl to mix. Fill the remainder of the bottle with coconut oil, seal and swirl to mix. Apply to your pulse points to keep bugs away.
