Stitch Fix Review {Fall 2020} Fall Staples

fall 2020 stitch fix review

I’m excited to share my fall Stitch Fix review. I’ve reviewed Stitch Fix a few times on the blog before. You can read my previous Stitch Fix reviews here, here, and here. Since my last Stich fix was in the winter and I had a referral credit, I thought it would be fun to see what they would pick out for me for fall.

WHAT IS STITCH FIX?

But before we get to my fall stitch review, let me tell you what Stitch Fix is (and if you are already familiar, go ahead and scroll down). Stitch Fix is a personal shopping service that shops for you and delivers five pieces of clothing and accessories to your door for you to try. You can schedule your deliveries monthly or on-demand.

The charge for the monthly styling fee is $20. If you decide not to keep anything, you send it back in a prepaid envelope and only charged the $20 styling fee. If you keep one or more pieces, you’ll receive a credit for the $20 styling fee you paid upfront towards your purchase. And, if you purchase all five pieces, you receive a 25% discount. You can try Stitch Fix using my code to get $25 off your first fix!

I love fall fashion and let my stylist know that I wanted cozy, casual fall pieces that were versatile and that I could easily dress up or down and would transition from season to season. I also specified no jewelry. When you get your stitch fix, you usually get style cards to give you ideas about each piece along with styling tips. I always like these because they give you great ideas when you’re stumped. Unfortunately, they sent someone else’s styling cards with my fix.

What Was In My Fall Stitch Fix Box

Fall Stitch Fix Review: Callie Cuffed Skinny Pant $88

I’ve always had good luck with Stitch Fix pants, and these are no exception. I love the fit, the cuffs, and the olive color. The only thing I would change is to make them high-rise instead of mid-rise. Verdict: Kept!

Button Back Striped Tee Fall Stitch Fix

Fall Stitch Fix Review: Clover Daisee Button Back Detail Knit Top Striped $34

This navy and white striped top is a great basic, and the button back detail makes it unique. But, I already have a navy and white stripe top. Verdict: Returned.

Fall Stitch Fix Review: Floral Tie Sleeve Blouse $44

I love the colors, floral print, and 3/4 tie sleeve detail of this blouse, but again, I already have a similar top in my closet. Verdict: Returned.

Fall Stitch Fix Review: Mix by 41 Hawthorn Longsleeve Cardigan $44

This cardigan is super soft, and I love how it drapes. Plus, it has pockets! But, again, I already have a mustard cardigan. Verdict: Returned.

Fall Stitch Fix Review: Kevia Bracelet set – $38

This bracelet set is so pretty with the mixed metals, and I debated if I wanted to keep them or not. But, I don’t need any more jewelry and noted specifically not to send me any. I would instead have received another top, sweater, or pants instead. Verdict: Returned.

Fall Stitch Fix Review Final Thoughts

Even though I only kept the olive pants, it was fun to see what my stylist picked out for me, and I had fun trying everything on. The pieces were of high quality, and the price points wouldn’t break the bank. Unfortunately, it just didn’t have any unique pieces that wowed me or that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I recommend them if you are looking to update your wardrobe with a few key pieces or if you want to treat yourself by having someone shop for you. I think it’s important to communicate your likes/dislikes and what you are specifically looking for with your stylist. You can try Stitch Fix yourself using my code to get $25 off your first fix!
