Simply Earth Review | Essential Oils Recipe Box

I’m back again this month, partnering with Simply Earth to review their December Essential Oils Recipe Box! If you’re not familiar, Simply Earth Essential Oils are globally sourced and tested for 100% purity. Plants are grown throughout the best regions where they will thrive. After they are harvested, they collect the natural essential oils through cold-pressing or steam distillation. Simply Earth’s mission is to make your home natural at an affordable price.

They also give back by helping people whose beauty has been abused. 13% of their profits go to help fight human trafficking. Each month they highlight one organization so you can learn more and get involved. There are 40+ million people estimated to be trapped in prostitution, and 98% are women and girls. In December, Simply Earth is partnering with and giving 13% to Freedom’s Journey. Freedom’s Journey is located in Rapid City, SD. Their mission is to combat human trafficking by meeting the needs of survivors through relationships and with innovative collaborations with public and private partnerships.

The Simply Earth Essential Oils Recipe Box is a monthly subscription box that comes with all of the ingredients, containers, and extras you need to make five natural essential oil recipes. This is great if you love natural DIY products but don’t have time to gather all of the ingredients! But, you don’t need a subscription to purchase from Simply Earth. They sell their oils individually as well! What I love most about this essential oil subscription box is that the recipes are simple and only take a few minutes to make.

Simply Earth December Essential Oils

Let’s get started with this month’s Simply Earth review. This month’s box gives you everything you need to make your own soaps. Did you know that most store-bought soaps contain artificial fragrances and toxic chemicals? Make these soap recipes and have the peace of mind that you are using toxin-free soap! They will also make great holiday gifts and stocking stuffers!

Cinnamon oil warms, soothes, and uplifts. Relieves chronic aches and combat seasonal illnesses.

Cedarwood oil calms and supports emotional balance and provides respiratory support.

Bergamot calms, soothes, and is great for easing tight muscles and balancing oily skin.

Winter Spice is a lovely seasonal aroma and also fights airborne bacteria and clears congestion.

2 – Cocoa Marble Soap

3 – Soap Jellies

4 – Winter Protection Balm

5 – Calming Orange Grove Roll-On

6 – This month’s diffuser blend is Winter Sunshine; a mix of Winter Spice, Bergamot, and Cinnamon essential oils. It smells amazing and will help ward off germs this season.

Cocoa Marble Soap

I love making my own soaps and these would be cute gifts for a teacher or neighbor too! Start by melting the soap base in a double boiler. While the soap base is heating, mix the cocoa powder and rubbing alcohol in a small bowl. When your soap base is liquid, add the essential oils.

Next, combine the cocoa with the soap base and give it one or two stirs with a whisk.

Pour the mixture into the soap mold and allow it to harden. It’s that easy!

Soap Jellies

Add a gelatin pack to water and allow it to thicken. In a separate bowl mix together pure castile soap and essential oils.

When the gelatin mixture has thickened, combine with the castile soap/essential oil mixture, and add food coloring.

Pour mixture into a silicone ice cube tray and refrigerate for a few hours to set.

Winter Skin Protection Balm
