How to Wear a Jumpsuit Casually

There’s nothing better than an outfit that’s both stylish and easy, and I’ve been wearing this jumpsuit on repeat since it arrived. It’s from the brand Pistola and one of the few items I splurged on during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. When you think of utility jumpsuits, stiff fabric comes to mind. This one is super soft and comfortable. It has buttons on the side to adjust the waist to make it more or less fitted. It runs true to size, and for reference, I’m wearing an XS. Sadly, it’s regular price again, but I found a few alternative color options on sale and linked them in the widget at the end of this post.

Jumpsuits are not a passing trend and are here to stay. Not only are they easy to throw on and go, but they also give you that wow factor when you step out the door. You’ll find many jumpsuit options out there in a variety of silhouettes. Denim or cotton jumpsuits are super comfortable and my favorite for a laidback look. Loose-fitting jumpsuits with a drawstring waist are universally flattering. And for flowier options, you can belt them to define your waist.

I know not everyone is on board yet with the jumpsuit trend. So today, I wanted to share three reasons why you should have a one in your closet and how to wear a jumpsuit casually.

Three Reasons Why You Should Have a Casual Jumpsuit

1 – They Instantly Give You a Polished Look

Jumpsuits are a chic alternative to everyday jeans and a tee uniform or a maxi dress. They’re perfect for work, play, travel, and everything else in between.

2 – They Fit Any Shape

With endless styles available, it’s easy to find one that suits your body type and personal style. Opt for a jumpsuit with a v-neck or wrap-style top if your body is apple-shaped. Adding a belt will help define the waist. For pear shapes, pick a jumpsuit with visual interest on the top, like statement sleeves or an off-the-shoulder top. Finally, for straight shapes, go with one that has a defined waist, like a boilersuit.

3 – They Are Easy To Wear

Jumpsuits look great on women no matter what their age. Casual jumpsuits are a great option for those who want to add variety to their closet without investing in a whole new outfit. They combine dressy with comfortable. Whether going out for drinks with friends or heading to the office, a jumpsuit will help you stay stylish while still being able to move freely.
