Everyday Style - What I Wore

This week I was very busy at work.  Twice I tried to use vacation days but ended up working half of the day. We do not have any plans this weekend.  Sometimes those are the best so I'm looking forward to it.  My photo's are a little fuzzy this week.  I was using my iPhone camera instead of my regular one.

I had a Stella and Dot Trunk show to get my friends together for Spring.  It was so fun to hang out with my girlfriends, drink mimosa's and pick out new jewelry.

Everyday Style - What I Wore

Did everyone have a fun St Patrick's Day weekend?  Our weekend was jam packed but it was all fun get together's with friends so while we were busy, it was not the usual hectic running around.

With my Sunday's free for the next several weeks, I was finally able to go to the yoga class I love.  If you have not tried yoga, I recommend it.  You body feels great afterwards and your mind is clear.  In the afternoon we had our dear friends over for brunch.  Such a great day!

DIY Spring Wreath

I love wreaths...I hang them for all occasions. It's rare that I find a wreath that I like in the store and if I do, it always tends to be pricy. Sometimes it's easier to use that for inspiration and make your own. This simple wreath was put together in about 20 minutes and cost less than $15 to make!

Everyday Style - What I Wore

I had a low key week.  It is so nice to have my daughter home every night for dinner and to hang out and watch a move or some shows.  With the weather changing from 50 degrees one day to 20 degrees the next, I tried to put together outfits that transition to spring.  I'm ready to put my boots away for the winter and pull out the sandals.

Recovering from my daughter's birthday sleepover.  After the girls went home we caught up on the three Glee episodes on the DVR and then of course, my daughter wanted to go to the mall because she received several gift cards for her birthday.

Teen Mardi Gras Birthday Party

This weekend was my daughter's birthday party sleepover.  She wanted a Mardi Gras inspired party but now officially a teenager, she was past playing games and did not want decorations.  I was still able to incorporate the theme into a craft, food and minimal decorations.

Everyday Style - What I Wore

After a busy weekend at the pool for my daughters regional qualifier swim meet and an Oscar pj party with my friends Sunday night I was ready to stay in my pj's all week. I persevered, did not fall back into my yoga pants rut and was pretty happy with my outfits.

I spent the afternoon in the stands at a local high school pool for my daughter's regional qualifier swim meet. There is sometimes hours in between swims so I needed to be comfortable.
