October Pin-Spired - Doused in Pink - a fashion and lifestyle blog

October Pin-Spired

Hello Everyone! It's the first of the month and it's time for another round of Pin-spired looks! Linking up today with Pinterest Told Me ToMix and Match Family & The Larson Lingo. Pinterest is always a great source to spark creativity when I'm not sure how to style an outfit. If you are new to using Pinterest, keep in mind that you don't have to match an outfit exactly. Use it to get ideas to style what you already have. Fall trends call for darker shades and richer colors like burgundy, mustard, blues and grays. I'm styling all of my looks today around my colored denim and corduroy's.

Pin-Spiration #1
Pink skinny jeans, white tee, beige jacket, neutral sandals

My Recreation

Sweater (option) / Tee (option) / Jeans (option) /Stella & Dot Rebel Pendant /Return to Tiffany Bracelet / Steve Madden Sincere Sandal

Pink denim, check...white tee, check...neutral sandals...check! I don't wear blazers often so I swapped that for a beige sweater. This was the perfect outfit to wear on a warmer fall day.

Pin-Spiration #2
Burgundy denim, chambray top, oxfords

My Recreation

This was an easy recreation. Burgundy corduroy's, a chambray top, and oxfords. I was really happy how this relaxed look turned out and would definitely wear it again.

Pin-Spiration #3
White peplum top, polka dot pants, dainty necklace, neutral belt & wedges

My Recreation

I took the inspiration and paired my black peplum top with my polka dot pants and wedge booties. I swapped a statement necklace for a dainty necklace. This was the perfect date night outfit!

Pin-Spiration #4
Striped tee, leopard scarf, beige sweater, mustard jeans, black boots

My Recreation

This is my favorite outfit of the four. I wanted these mustard corduroys last winter but by the time they were on sale, they didn't have my size. I was able to find them on Ebay for less than half the cost. I tried this outfit with black boots but liked the brown better. I opted not to wear the sweater.

  9. You nailed these Jill! (But of course you did, I say that every time!) It's always so fun to see which things you choose to re-create. I have had that same Cameron Diaz outfit pinned FOREVER and have always intended to re-create it. Love how you did your version of this!
