Can you believe it’s already September 1st? It’s time to hold myself accountable to my budget by showing you what I bought. This month I focused on finding key pieces on my wishlist to take me into fall and through the winter. Here’s where my dollars went in August:
August budget: $50

Total spent: $64.33
Under budget: $40.07

Sweater season will be here soon and this sleeveless tunic will be perfect to layer under sweaters without adding bulk. It was on sale and with a $10 reward certificate my total cost was $1.33!
These scalloped shorts were purchased in July but they didn’t make it on my July budget that was focused on my Nordstrom haul. I was over budget $17 in July so this would have made it $33.
