I am so happy summer is almost here! Since we’re heading into Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial kickoff to summer, I wanted to share some red white and blue Americana outfit ideas that feel stylish, effortless, and comfortable. Perfect for whether you are heading to a backyard barbecue, a parade, or simply relaxing with friends.
Target has so many affordable, wearable pieces this season. Since spring weather is hit or miss in Chicago, I have a mix of options, whether it’s warm or chilly. Each of these outfits features one key piece in red, white, or blue from Target that brings the patriotic vibes, while the rest is styled with staples from my closet. These are outfits you can actually wear all summer long, not just on the patriotic holidays.

Striped Tee + Denim Shorts
You can’t go wrong with a classic striped tee. This one has red, white, and navy stripes and instantly feels festive without trying too hard. I paired it with high-rise denim shorts, white sneakers, and a sporty denim cap. It’s the kind of outfit you can throw on for a morning walk, a picnic in the park, or casual hanging out at home.
Striped T-Shirt Dress
