Worn by horsemen in the late 19th century, dusters were full length canvas coats. Fast forward to 2015 and they have been revamped as a long knit cardigan. This flowing piece has an easy, boho vibe and it’s a fun alternative to a regular cardigan. The longer length, falling between the knee and ankle, is unexpected and can completely change up a look. Dusters are easy to style. Wear it with leggings or skinny jeans or take the look up a notch and style it with a skirt or dress and over the knee boots. Dusters are the perfect way to extend the wear of your summer tank tops! I wanted to create a girls night out look and styled my duster with a printed layered tank, leather leggings and booties. I added a few boho inspired jewelry pieces and was ready to head out the door! What do you think of this trend?
