Peaches & Petals Subscription Box | June 2016

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend! I had a a busy but relaxing one – went to yoga, a summer festival, a long bike ride and kayaked on our lake. The weather was perfect and not too hot.

Have you heard of the Peaches & Petals subscription box? Carrie has been reviewing hers the past several months and I decided to give it a try. Peaches & Petals is a monthly lifestyle box that’s curated based on a monthly theme. Each month you receive 3 – 6 items ranging from home decor, jewelry, fashion, beauty products and more. The cost is $19.99/month and using Carrie’s referral link, my cost for the first month was $14.99. June’s theme was Under the Boardwalk. Here’s what I got!

Ikat Print Kimono | Value $6.99

This was a guaranteed item for June and it’s one of the reasons that prompted me to try out the box. I love the Ikat print and have already worn it several times. I’ll be styling it on Thursday with a few other bloggers for Thursday Fashion Files so stop back to see our looks!

Verdict:

Starfish Project Jewelry | Value $19.99

Starfish Project is a non-profit organization and fair trade business that employs and cares for women coming out human trafficking and exploitation in Asia. Each piece is unique, handmade and tells the story behind it.

Verdict:

Alterna Stylist Summer Ocean Waves Hair Spray | Value $5.99

I haven’t tried this texturing spray yet but it promises weightless volume and just back from the beach hair.

Verdict:

Beachy Beverage Companion | Value $14.99

How fun is this wine glass! Complete with a lid and straw it’s perfect to hold a cold glass of sangria on the patio.

Verdict:

Sunglasses | Value $12.99

Styles varied by box and unfortunately this Jaclyn Smith pair was not my style.

Verdict:

Fruit Makeup Bag | Value $3.99

This was a “surprise” bonus item. I have plenty of makeup bags from my Ipsy subscriptions but I do love the cute, summery print.

Verdict: 🆗

I love getting surprises in the mail and overall this was a great box! The items are not the highest quality, but they are fun for summer. This box had a value of about $65.00, not bad for my $14.99 investment! There’s a few other boxes out there that I’d like to try, so I did not continue this subscription. With that said, if you are looking for an inexpensive lifestyle box, this is a good option to treat yourself with!

Thank you for visiting today!

Come back on Thursday to see how I’m styling the kimono!
