Looking at your day the night before and preparing for it will give more time in the morning. Review anything you need to get done the next day. Pick your outfit and iron or steam if needed, make your lunch if you brown bag it to work, pack your work bag and make sure your essentials are ready to go.

Get Quality Sleep

We all know that sleep plays a critical role in our mental and physical health so why do we continue to push the boundaries and get less sleep? Try going to bed and getting up at the same time every day. Exposing yourself to sunlight in the morning and spending more time outdoors during daylight hours will help you get better zzz's at night.

Take 5 Minutes to Stretch

When we sleep our muscles tighten and stretching when we first wake up releases any tension in our bodies from sleeping. Stretching leads to flexibility which helps our muscles perform better for the day ahead.

Working out in the morning has benefits other than getting your work out of the way. You are more likely to eat healthy breakfast afterward and make better nutritional choices for the rest of the day. It also rev's up your metabolism and will help you sleep better at night. Plus, you'll feel proud of yourself!
