What’s Up Wednesday {06/26/19}

Hello friends! It’s the last Wednesday of the month and time to link up with Shay and Sheaffer for this month’s What’s Up Wednesday! The prompts are highlighted so if you’re a blogger, check it out and join the fun, if not, I’d love it if you participated in the comments! Here’s what’s up this past month!

What I’m Loving

I’ve used VIIcode Oxygen Eye Masks in the past (see my review here), and when they contacted me and asked if I was interested in receiving more eye masks and trying their new Oxygen Hydrating Eye Spray, I was all in. You can’t beat a mask that you can wear overnight, and this one is so easy to use. All you have to do is place the patches under your eyes, and they work their magic while you sleep. And yes, they really do stay on while you sleep! These eye masks help increase blood flow to reduce the appearance of fine lines around your eyes. You wake up with bright, hydrated, and refreshed eyes!

The Oxygen Hydrating Eye Spray is a great way to start your day or a pick me up after a long work day. I’ve been using the eye spray right when I get up in the morning. To use, spray 2-3 times to the eye area and then pat with your fingertips until it is absorbed. It instantly gives your eyes a boost and refreshing boost and helps maintain hydration. Both of these products are made with safe, non-toxic ingredients!

What We’ve Been Up To

I can go weeks without having anything going on, and then I seem to have back to back plans. Anyone else like this? June was a super fun month starting with a trip out east for my daughter’s college orientation. I love that she is so close to the ocean and of course, I couldn’t pass up a lobster roll at dinner!

I stayed in the dorms for family orientation and had a great time with my “roomies”. We dined again right on the ocean and I switched things up and ordered the best lobster tamale!

The day after I came back from the college trip, I spent a fun packed day in the city with my besties having brunch, shopping, a boat ride and then dinner!

A few days later, I was back in the city for dinner with some of my favorite blogging friends. I’ve met Laura a few times before, but it was my first time meeting Andrea, Michelle, and Caroline. They are super sweet and genuine, and I hope to hang out with them again soon!

Last but not least, we hosted our daughter’s graduation party this month. We had planned an outdoor party and prayed for sunshine, but the weather did not cooperate. We had a tent set up outdoors with table seating and a “Friends set” outside for photos. My husband set up a sound system with microphones for karaoke. For food, we had a taco bar and a candy/dessert bar. It started downpouring 30 minutes before the party started so the tables and music went into the garage, and the food and everything else was moved inside the house. The indoor lighting didn’t do my photos any favors, and I’m a little bit sad that none of them turned out.

What I’m Excited About

Finally taking advantage of the warm weather and sunshine and checking things off of my summer bucket list!

What I’m Watching

Black Mirror on Netflix. My daughter got us hooked on this show. It’s a sci-fi anthology series which reminds me of a modern day Twilight Zone.

What I’m Wearing

We’ve had so much rain, and the temps are just finally aligning with summer. My outfits have been all over the place with shorts one day and jeans the next. I’d love it if you followed me on Instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it  if you’re not already, where you’ll find more outfit inspiration!

What I’m Doing This Weekend

Looking forward to a low key weekend. We have one party to attend but other than that I’m hoping to kayak and have dinner with my Mom to hear about her recent trip to the Netherlands and Iceland!
