Everyday Style - What I Wore

After a busy weekend at the pool for my daughters regional qualifier swim meet and an Oscar pj party with my friends Sunday night I was ready to stay in my pj’s all week. I persevered, did not fall back into my yoga pants rut and was pretty happy with my outfits.

Sunday

I spent the afternoon in the stands at a local high school pool for my daughter’s regional qualifier swim meet. There is sometimes hours in between swims so I needed to be comfortable.

Monday

We had a fun family dinner out to celebrate the end of our daughter’s swim season. Nothing fancy, just a local restaurant so we could relax and hang out. She was diligent about what she ate the past two weeks while she was tapering so she really needed a burger and fries.

Tuesday

It is rare that I have to leave the house for work. Today I had a networking meeting and had to dress business casual. It’s hectic getting everything together in the morning and having a long commute but it was worth it because the meeting was at Banana Republic. So fun to be part of a networking group that meets in a favorite store each quarter.

Wednesday

It’s snowing again and not just a light dusting, another four inches. I’m ready to put the snowblower away for the season and get out the patio furniture!

Thursday

Just another workday but happy the sun was shining! I swapped my boots for Converse and tried to keep my colors bright with red stripes and an ivory scarf.

Friday

Ready for the weekend in polka dots and roses. It’s National Employee Appreciation Day and I’m excited we are able to get out for lunch and leave work a little early.
