Ipsy Glam Bag Review – May 2015

It’s time for my monthly review of the Ipsy Glam Bag. If you aren’t familiar with Ipsy, it’s is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription where you get five full or deluxe size samples of a variety of products and a cute makeup bag all for $10! You never know what you’ll get and I’ve been lucky to receive a great selection of products almost every month so far. Here’s what I got in mine in May:

This month’s glam bag has to be my favorite products received so far! And how adorable is this bag that came with it?

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil

I’ve always been a fan of the 24/7 eye pencils and was happy to try the lip. As a bonus it also came with two Revolution High-Color Lipgloss samples in the Failbait (a mauve color) and Bittersweet (a purple color). The lip penicil’s Ozone shade has no color and is a primer. I outlined my lips and filled them in completely before applying my regular lipstick. It definitely helped the staying power. The lipglosses were okay, but I was not a fan of the shades.

Verdict:

Chella Eyebrow Color Pencil
My eyebrows are blonde and everyone has always told me to try an eyebrow pencil. I don’t know why I waited so long! I received the Tantalizing Taupe color which was the perfect shade for my skintone and brows. It glided on smoothly and really made my eyes pop!
Verdict:

Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches
I was happy that Ipsy gave two samples of this product. I’ve heard good things about these patches and was anxious to try them. They were hydrating and gave my tired eyes the boost they needed.
Verdict:

Luxie Beauty Tapered Blending Eye Brush

100% animal cruelty free brush. The synthetic bristles were soft, looked natural and did a great job blending. Of course, I loved the pink handle!
Verdict:

CoTZ Face Natural SPF 40

Tinted moisturizer with spf is always a plus. I used it over my regular moisturizer and it delivered as described and gave my face a smooth matte finish. This product is a good go-to for those days you want to go makeup free but also need just a hint of color.

Verdict:
