This week I’m switching up my Tuesday lifestyle post to fashion. I’m excited to be co-hosting the #reasonstodress Dress to Impress linkup today with Angela from Reasons to Dress! Angela is an expat currently living in Modena, Italy. Not only does she feature her amazing style on her blog, you also get to read about her adventures abroad! The other day I discovered this black duster cardigan hiding in the back of my closet. I didn’t realize that I still had it, but sure was happy to find it in there! I remember that I bought it at Marshall Fields, an iconic Chicago department store, and always one of my favorite places to shop. Sadly, it was taken over by Macy’s about 10 years ago (don’t get me started on that topic). The fact that I still have this piece makes it even more special! I love it’s slim silhouette and that it sports a collar and belt. It also has buttons all the way down the front so it can also be worn as a sweater dress. Speaking of department stores, I was searching for trench coats online and discovered a really cool Canadian store, La Maison Simons. They have lots of cute and trendy pieces that are a mix of high and low end and they ship to the US! I’ve been shopping my closet most of the winter and look forward to adding some key pieces to my wardrobe this spring!
