DIY Sprayed Gold Leaf Placecards

With less than two weeks until Thanksgiving, I wanted to share a simple DIY project with you today. Is your backyard covered in fall leaves like ours is? What better way to put them to use than turning them into gold leaf placecards for Thanksgiving. I think they would also be great as a unique gift tag for Christmas!

Dried Leaves

Gold Metallic Spray Paint

Sharpie Marker

~ Instructions ~

Collect leaves.

In a well ventilated area, spray the leaves with metallic paint.

Let dry, then spray the other side.

Once dry, create placecards by writing your guests name on the leaf.

Instead of a name, you could also write things you are thankful for or a quote!

I wish I had better handwriting but I still love how they turned out! An inexpensive, quick and easy project that adds a festive touch to your Thanksgiving table!

 Thank you for visiting!
