Fall Porch Tour {2018}

fall farmhouse porch tour

Hi Everyone! I finally have my porch decorated for fall and can’t wait to share my fall porch tour with you! Our front porch is our summer sanctuary and now that the weather is cooling off, it’s time to turn it into a cozy fall retreat. This space is nothing fancy, just a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I rearranged and swapped out accessories to add some fall touches and make it cozy.

I switch up my front door wreath for each season. My initial wreath was made a few years ago and is still in great shape. You can find the tutorial to make your own here. I found the doorbell sign at a vintage market. There were a few weeks where the little kids in the neighborhood were ringing the bell in hopes of actually winning a dog!

Our porch is surrounded by tall bushes and is secluded from the street. In the summer it gives you the feeling of being in a treehouse. In the fall, I want it to feel homey. I always bring out my faux fur throw to stay warm when sitting outside on a chilly fall evening. I added these cute little plaid throw pillows (from the bullseye playground at Target) to the chairs this year.

Bringing the inside out is an easy way to add decorative touches, and since our porch is sheltered, everything stays dry. I added some artificle pumpkins, leaves and flowers, a trick or treat sign and lantern. Mums and real pumpkins were the finishing touches.

The flowers and garden planters are from Dollar Tree. You can usually find them in the spring in their garden section. We have a LOT of artificial pumpkins in our house. I might have a slight obsession. To make a few of them unique, I decorated them with washi tape. I also love projects with mason jars. Thank you so much for joining me! I hope I gave you some inspiration for some cute and cozy ways you can decorate your porch!
