Casual Valentine's Day Outfit

Hello friends! I thought this fun wall was appropriate for how I’m feeling this week! I’m smiling because last weekend when I took these photos it was 48 degrees and literally almost 100 degrees warmer than it was a few days before! It was so lovely being outside without bundling up and I’m sure our dog appreciated that she got longer and more leisurely walks!

Anyway, onto today’s post…Not everyone wants to wear red or pink or even dress up for that matter on Valentine’s Day.We don’t really celebrate this Hallmark holiday but might go out for a bite to eat, so I wanted to create a subtle look that’s still fun and festive. Casual is the name of the game for me, and I thought a statement heart sweater would be perfect. I received this one back in November for my birthday. It’s a more substantial knit, and I love the split heart graphic of mauve and burnt orange. Unfortunately, it’s sold out, but I linked a few similar options below. Do you go out on Valentine’s Day?
