Shop ’til You Drop

Today I’m joining The Blended Blog for their Shop to You Drop Edition of TBB Asks. The prompts are highlighted below, so if you’re a blogger, join us! If you’re not a blogger, I’d love it if you participated through the comments!

Top 3 Shops?

Anthropologie, Nordstrom Rack, and J.Crew

Where is the majority of your shopping done – in store or online?

When I was younger I couldn’t wait to go to the mall. Now I’m all about the convenience of shopping online at home. Plus, I don’t know about you, but I prefer to try things on at home too!

What is your favorite thing to shop for?

It’s always about the shoes!

What do you just HATE shopping for?

Swimsuits! Anyone else with me on this one?

What’s your most favorite thing you’ve ever bought?

My Barefoot Dreams Cardigan. It’s basically my housecoat, especially this time of year!

Do you prefer shopping alone or with others?

Shopping is always more fun with my daughter or my girl tribe!

Best Bargain?

Blush Rich and Skinny Jeans marked down from $198 to $29!

Thrift Store Shopping: Yes or No?

Yes and No! We have several really cute resale shops in our community but I don’t always have the patience to go through everything piece by piece to discover that rare find!

Best cities for shopping?

I may be a bit biased but I’m going to say Chicago. There are so many fun neighborhoods to shop; Southport, Armitage Avenue, Bucktown…

Who’s your style or fashion icon?

Gwen Stefani, Gweneth Paltrow, and Reese Witherspoon (I realize that’s more than one). I’d also love to have tea and chat with Iris Apfel!

Do we have anything in common?

As always, thank you for reading!
