Things I Loved in May

Hello friends! It’s the last Wednesday of the month and time to link up with Shay and Sheaffer for this month’s What’s Up Wednesday! The prompts are highlighted, so if you’re a blogger, check it out and join the fun; if not, I’d love it if you participated in the comments! Here’s what’s up this past month!

What We’re Eating This Week…

If you love bacon, you’ll love this recipe for Baked Crack Chicken. These Carne Asada tacos were delicious. And if you want something easy to whip up after a long day, make this Cheesy Meatball Skillet with some frozen Italian meatballs.

What I’m Loving…

My letterboard from Underwood Letterpress! Letterboards are a timeless way to display everything from inspirational quotes to your menu of what’s for dinner! My letterboard is in their newly released sand color. They also come in grey, navy, and pistachio! Get 20% off yours with code DIPXUL20.

It drives me crazy when no-show socks immediately bunch up by your toes the second you take more than a few steps. I recently tried Feetures and was pleasantly surprised that they not only stay put, but they are also super comfortable! They come in solids, stripes, and patterns, have a seamless toe and targeted compression. Thank you to Feetures for providing me a few pairs to check out!

What I’m Watching/Reading…

We just started Marcella on Netflix, and I’ve been watching Kitchen Nightmares reruns with my daughter. If you need some binge-watching show ideas, I rounded up some of my favorite shows in this post.

With the library closed, I’m way behind on my reading goals this year. I’ve never been able to get used to reading on a device. Luckily my SIL dropped off a few books for me to read a few weeks ago, and I just finished All the Ugly and Wonderful Things. This book is not for everyone. It’s a controversial and disturbing, yet beautiful love story told through the voices of the cast of characters.

What I’m Wearing…

Summer arrived over Memorial Day weekend, and I think I can finally pack away my sweaters and coats. I don’t like the cold, but I am glad we had an actual spring this year and didn’t go from winter to hot and humid weather. I love how effortless maxi dresses are, and they seem to be what I reach for lately. I’d love it if you followed me on Instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it, if you’re not already, where you’ll find more outfit inspiration!
