I’ve always gravitated toward gold jewelry. It’s what I wore for years, and it’s still what I reach for most often. But there was a time, late ’90s, early 2000s, when silver was everywhere, and I wore it almost exclusively. I immediately think of artisan-inspired pieces from brands like Brighton, especially those heart motifs.
I also remember going to a few home-based Silpada jewelry parties back in the day. Do you remember them? So when Silpada reached out to me last fall, I’ll be honest, I was surprised they were still around. Today, I’m sharing my Silpada jewelry review. All opinions are my own.
Why I Took a Second Look at Silpada
After doing my usual due diligence, I quickly realized Silpada is just as solid as ever; they’ve simply shifted to a fully online model. The focus is still on craftsmanship, materials, and thoughtfully designed pieces, which immediately caught my attention.
That said, I still hesitated. I don’t wear silver the way I used to, and I wasn’t interested in forcing a collaboration that didn’t feel authentic to how I get dressed now. What changed my mind was seeing Silpada’s mixed metal collection.
I’ve always loved the look of mixed metal jewelry. It feels modern, wearable, and easy to incorporate into a wardrobe that already leans gold. That’s when the collaboration started to make sense.
I ultimately chose the Aurora Glow Pendant Necklace and the Sun Flecked Drop Earrings, and they’ve both fit seamlessly into my everyday rotation. Check out my Silpada Instagram posts here and here.
What Sets Silpada Apart
What stood out to me immediately for my Silpada jewelry review is Silpada’s commitment to real materials. Every piece is crafted in .925 sterling silver, which matters more than most people realize. There’s a noticeable difference between jewelry designed to last and pieces meant to follow a trend for a season or two.
Sterling silver is a precious metal, and when it’s crafted well, it has substance. The pieces feel intentional, not overly delicate, and that attention to craftsmanship shows in the details, the finish, and how the jewelry wears over time.
The Pieces I’ve Been Wearing

The Aurora Glow Pendant Necklace has quickly become one of those pieces I reach for constantly. It works just as well with a sweater and jeans as it does with a more polished outfit. And, it’s substantial enough to stand on its own without being overpowering.
The Sun Flecked Drop Earrings are equally easy to wear. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and versatile. They’re the kind of earrings that quietly elevate an outfit without calling attention to themselves.
Is Silpada Jewelry Worth the Investment?
Jewelry shouldn’t feel precious in a way that makes you hesitant to wear it. These pieces feel like they’re meant to be part of your routine, not saved for special occasions. That’s where craftsmanship really shows up: in how a piece fits into real life.
If you value quality materials and longevity, I think Silpada jewelry is worth considering. These are pieces designed to be worn often, styled easily, and kept for years. They’re not trend-driven, and they don’t feel disposable, which is something I’ve become much more intentional about across my wardrobe.
I hope my Silpada jewelry review was helpful! Do you tend to wear gold, silver, or mixed metal jewelry? Have you ever shopped at Silpada?
