Faux Leather Trend
The faux leather trend is going strong this season, and I wanted to show you a simple way to incorporate the faux leather trend with this casual outfit idea. There’s more to faux leather than leggings and coats. An easy way to wear the faux leather trend is by adding a faux leather top to your wardrobe. You know that when I buy something, my number one requirement is that it has to be versatile, and this top is just that. I love that it gives off that luxe vibe yet doesn’t put a dent in your pocketbook.
Faux Leather Top
This top from the Target Who What Wear line is the perfect starting point to wear the trend. Faux leather is not just for dressy occasions or a night out. Today I’m styling the faux leather trend for an everyday casual outfit with this top. The poofed sleeves make a statement on their own, so I keep the rest of the look simple with cropped straight-leg jeans and white Chelsea boots. The black and white give this look a striking contrast. By the way, these boots are not only super comfortable, but they are also water-resistant too! I can see this top worn to the office with a pair of neutral trousers and heels or mixed with a pair of bright-colored pants and heeled boots for a night out. The other great thing to note about this top is that it also comes in brown and is under $35!
More Faux Leather Shirts and Blouses
I’ve noticed faux leather tops popping up everywhere. I’m loving the button-up shirts and, of course, anything with statement sleeves. Here’s a round-up at all price points, most under $30!
What do you think of the faux leather trend? Are you planning on wearing the trend this fall?
