Easiest Outfit for the Fourth
Happy Thursday, Friends! Do you have any fun 4th of July traditions or plans for the long weekend? Our neighborhood has its annual rib cook-off. We’re not participating, but hanging out with our neighbors will be fun. I’m also planning on grabbing a book from the library and relaxing at the beach. And, of course, watching the fireworks.
What to Wear on Independence Day
If you get stumped with what to wear on Independence Day, I’ve got you covered with the easiest outfit for the fourth. I’ve styled my red printed dress for brunch and zoom meetings. But I thought it would also look cute styled as a duster for a July 4th BBQ or picnic! This dress has the perfect flow and the red, white, and blue floral print gives a vintage Americana vibe. I styled my dress unbuttoned over my denim cut-off shorts and navy tank top. My white slide sandals with the gold buckle completed the look and gave it another festive detail.
Extend the Wear of Your Dresses
Wearing a shirt dress as a duster adds more interest to your outfit and is a refreshing change from a cardigan or jacket. Plus, the cost per wear is reduced. I can see wearing this outfit a few more times well into fall. Once the temps start to cool, swap the shorts out for jeans and the sandals for sneakers or booties.
There you have it, the easiest outfit for the fourth that is festive but not over the top.
