A few staple outfit pieces come to mind when I think about fall fashion. Wardrobe staples are items that are versatile (can be dressed up or down), neutral, and good quality. One of my favorite pieces to style is faux leather leggings! I recommend a pair as part of your fall wardrobe because they are the perfect choice for a stylish casual day look and can double as part of a chic fall night outfit. HOW TO STYLE FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
Look #1 – Casual & Chic ft. Combat Boots

To piece together this look, I started with the leggings and this under $50 neutral Mock Neck Bodysuit. I chose a neutral tan bodysuit to break up the black Duster, which I added as a layering piece. I linked a couple of similar shoulder bags, which are a style I love, especially for a look like this. For example, this Frill Trim Shoulder Bag. It is tweed, making it versatile enough to wear with a casual look like this and add a stylish flare. To complete the outfit, I wore a pair of classic black Combat Boots. These combat boots add an edgy twist to the look while keeping it more casual.
Quick style tip: switching up your footwear is the easiest way to change up the look and dress your leggings up or down.
Look #2 – Elevated Casual ft. Chelsea Boots
Following my quick tip, here’s an outfit that is the perfect example! I created this elevated casual look by first pairing the leggings with a black Cowl Neck Sweater. This sweater is super cozy and warm, making it great for fall and taking you through winter too. Instead of the combat boots, which are great for an edgy casual look, I grabbed these block heel Chelsea Boots to complete the look. These seamlessly elevate the look and are also comfortable! This faux leather leggings outfit is versatile, too, so you will be wearing it on repeat this season, whether you’re going out during the day for fall festivities or out to dinner with family/friends. I love how the leggings break up the black in this look while the sweater and boots tie together!
