Ah, the shacket. A shirt-jacket hybrid that has become an absolute fall staple! Shackets are the layering piece you need in your closet. This is because they are great to throw on over almost any look! In my opinion, you can never own “too many” shackets! I will choose which one to wear from my collection based on the weather and how casual or dressy I want to look. The best part is, whatever look you’re going for, there’s a shacket to go with it! I’m sharing 8 ways to style a shacket this season in this post!
The Best Ways to Style a Shacket for Fall
This is one of my favorite shacket outfits. Grab a simple tee and classic jeans as the staple pieces to build on. Then, add an elevated, chic belt with boots and a bag of the same color to tie the look together. This is a great look to wear on fall weekends out with family or friends!
I styled this look by choosing one of my favorite floral navy dresses to start. To make this dress fall-proof, I added warm thermal leggings (a great style tip for many dresses you may have in your wardrobe!) I chose black combat boots and a black felt hat to dress the look down just a bit. The shacket is under $100 and warm/ thicker. Plus, it’s long enough to add a belt that cinches the waist. The belt adds a super chic twist to the look!
I love edgy ways to style a shacket! This shacket adds a pop of color (one that screams fall!) This is one of the most classic shirt jackets. I linked two similar options to shop, both under $60! If you’re into the joggers look, check out my post: How to Style Camo Joggers 6 Ways!
This is one of my go-to ways to style a shacket! I shared this look in my post, Under $100 Fall Outfit to Wear This Season. This is an affordable Shacket styled with a black sweater vest, plaid trousers, and white sneakers to create a casual workwear or everyday outfit.
Here’s a fun plaid shacket outfit that will take you from fall to the holiday season in style!
I wore a different shacket over the same outfit I styled the belted look! This shacket is cropped and zips up instead of buttoning. The plaid outer layer with the cozy sherpa lining is timeless and a super warm and cozy option for under $100!
Here’s a great way to add a pop of color with a pink shacket! This look can be worn out to dinner for date night, with your girlfriends, or for a dressier event. If you’re a huge fan of pink fashion pieces, check out my post How to Style Bold Pink Barbiecore Outfits!
