Winter to Spring Outfits to Wear Now

winter to spring outfits to wear now

It always seems to snow whenever I think it’s almost time to pack away my heavy sweaters and oversized winter coats. I woke up on Saturday morning to several inches of snow, and then on Sunday, it had all melted. We had sunshine and temps in the 40s, and it was like the snow had never happened. Dressing when the weather is unpredictable can be challenging, so today, I wanted to share three effortless winter to spring outfits. And you probably already have similar pieces in your closet, so they’ll be easy to recreate.

How to Dress for Transitional Spring Weather

Swap Your Jacket for a Blazer

Blazers are timeless, and a neutral-colored blazer is a perfect topper to add to your transitional outfit formulas. A blazer will instantly elevate your outfit and look just as good with a skirt or trousers as with jeans. I planned this outfit around my lug sole loafers. Loafers are another classic that is not only practical but also versatile and will pull your outfit together.

Wear Spring Colors

You can never go wrong with a cute cardigan in a fresh spring color. After years of long cardigans being my go-to, it’s refreshing to see shorter cardigans returning and trending this spring. A classic way to wear it is buttoned up on its own with high-waisted jeans, trousers, or joggers. While almost any shoe would go with my cargo joggers, I chose a pair of sneakers for this look for a classic and cozy winter to spring combo.

Add Light Layers

Layering with a denim jacket always works, but why not change things up and try a denim shacket instead? The shacket trend is showing no signs of slowing down, and it’s a great transitional piece to pair with your winter to spring outfits. High-waisted tailored pants are a great way to offset the boxiness of the shacket. I added a fitted sweater tank and platform oxfords to complete the look.

Teddy Blake Handbags

All of my handbags featured in this post are from Teddy Blake. I love this brand because they create beautiful designer handbags made of fine quality Italian leather and high-end hardware. They give you a bag that’s cute, comfortable to wear, roomy, and stylish without the luxury price tag. Use my code TBDOUSEDINPINK30 for $30 off.
