Jewelry is a great way to distinguish your style and express your creativity. I’ve always been drawn to jewelry with little details that can take an outfit from basic to killer. When I think about statement jewelry, I immediately go to trendy accessories. But with that said, I think we often forget to wear our fine jewelry and how easy it is to incorporate those pieces with our everyday outfits. A simple gold necklace, hoop earrings, or a tennis bracelet are classics and will never go out of style. So, why don’t we wear our minimalist jewelry more often?
What is Minimalist Jewelry
Minimalist jewelry is dainty and timeless. It uses less material to make a bold statement and subtly enhances what you are wearing. In addition, minimalist jewelry is versatile and can be worn with almost any look or occasion. And that’s where Mejuri comes in.

Toronto-based jewelry brand Mejuri was founded in 2015. Their mission is to redefine luxury and has turned fine jewelry into an everyday occasion.
Mejuri’s minimalist jewelry pieces are made of high-quality materials, ethically made, and reasonably priced, meant to last a lifetime without the typical markups you find in fine jewelry stores. They have options at all price points and offer 14K gold, gold vermeil, sterling silver, and titanium pieces.
Focusing on sustainability, Mejuri releases new products designed in-house, in limited quantities, and only manufactures more based on consumer demand. This allows them to curate fresh products while keeping their production less wasteful.

In addition to Mejuri’s online boutique, they have stores throughout the US, UK, and Canada. I was thrilled to learn that there was a store in Chicago’s West Loop on Randolph Street. The store offers complimentary 30-minute styling appointments for a personalized experience, including product recommendations and advice on ways to layer them.
Minimalist Jewelry From Mejuri
There’s nothing more classic than a hoop. You can wear them every day, whether you are headed to the office, lounging around the house, or dressed up for a night out. With so many different shapes and sizes offered, there’s a gold hoop that fits your personality and style. I choose the Tube Large Hoops for their modern take on the classic hoop that looks clean and polished.

Minimalist Jewelry Styling Tips
Decide where you want to draw attention and choose one focal piece. For example, if your hair is pulled back, make your earrings the star of the show. Choose a simple gold chain necklace if you’re wearing a bold outfit.
For neutral outfits, choose pieces that have personality. You can never go wrong with personalized jewelry.
If your outfit is already embellished with jewels, skip wearing a necklace and wear simple earrings.
