Happy Friday Eve, friends! Winter is in full swing in the Midwest, so I thought I would talk about winter closet essentials today. These are my go-to wardrobe basics. They have stood the test of time and are great foundations for creating your winter outfits.
Winter Closet Essentials
Camel Coat
First up, the camel coat. This classic outerwear piece has been a fashion mainstay for decades, and for good reason. Its neutral hue effortlessly blends with any outfit. Throw it over your favorite jeans or pair it with a dress for an instantly polished look.
Faux Leather Leggings
Who says comfort can’t be stylish? Faux leather leggings are the answer to that age-old dilemma. They add a dash of edginess to your outfit while keeping you snug and cozy. Pair them with an oversized sweater or sweatshirt, or opt for a poncho or long tunic for a comfy and chic look.

Winter doesn’t mean sacrificing style for warmth. A knit dress combines the best of both worlds – cozy and chic. Choose a silhouette that flatters your figure, and throw on some tights or leggings for added warmth.
Lug Sole Boots
When it comes to winter footwear, lug sole boots are both stylish and practical. They provide traction on slippery surfaces while adding an extra layer of attitude to your look. Opt for a comfortable heel height to keep things practical yet stylish.
Colorful Hat & Scarf
Combat the winter blues with a splash of color with a vibrant hat and scarf combo. This is an easy way to express your personal style while staying warm and a touch of playfulness to your look.
Striped Sweater
Stripes are a classic that will always transcend trends. They’re the perfect base to build on because of the endless pairing options. They go with every color, texture, and print.
