I want to tell you about Lysse New York, because this brand has a story behind it that I think matters.
Lysse New York was founded by a breast cancer survivor, who in 2009 sewed into a pair of leggings what is now a patented waistband to give herself a comfortable, seamless fit during her treatment and a changing body. That’s where the brand started. Fifteen years later, Lysse has grown into a full collection built on the same idea: fabric, fit, and fashion that actually works for women’s real lives. All of their fabrics are made exclusively for Lysse, designed to hold their color, texture, and shape for years. They reached out to me because of my own breast cancer story, and that connection is why I said yes.
The quality was the first thing I noticed when I opened the box. The Sarai Handkerchief Asymmetric Dress is lightweight and fluid, with a bold geometric print and a handkerchief hem that moves beautifully. It feels special without being fussy. The Reversible Cashmere Zip-Up Cardigan is real cashmere and flips from black on one side to grey on the other. One jacket, two completely different looks. Both pieces fit true to size and I’m wearing an XS in the dress and a small.
One Dress Styled Three Ways
Here’s one dress styled three ways so you can see exactly how versatile these pieces are.
Look 1: Casual

Grey side of the cardigan out, white sneakers, a black bucket bag, and blue-tinted aviators. This is the version I’d wear for a weekend walk, errands, or lunch with a friend. The grey tones in the cardigan pick up the lighter panels in the dress, and the sneakers keep the whole thing relaxed and easy.
Look 2: Edgy

Flip the cardigan to black, add tights and combat boots, and swap in a crossbody bag. The structured jacket against the flowing asymmetric hem creates an interesting contrast. I’d wear this to dinner or anywhere the vibe calls for something with a little more edge. It also transitions well into cooler spring evenings.
Look 3: Dressed Up

I styled the dress on its own with strappy heeled sandals and a powder blue pouch that pulls out the softer tones in the print. It’s an easy spring night-out look. The handkerchief hem moves beautifully as you walk, the print is bold enough to stand on its own, and the blue bag subtly ties everything back to the dress.
I’ll keep reaching for these Lysse NY pieces long after this post. That’s not something I can say about everything that comes through my door.
