Better Not Younger Hair Care Line

I have baby fine hair, and it tends to get frizzy. The Wake Up Call Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner gives my hair extra volume without the frizz and has really brought life back to my hair. Once a week, I use the Silver Lining Purple Butter Masque for a deep condition. It also brightens blonde, grey, and bleached hair. Some days I let my hair dry naturally, but when I blow dry, I love how shiny the Heat Protection Spray leaves my hair. My favorite product, though, is the New Dawn Activated Charcoal Scalp Cleanser. The applicator combs the product through your hair and gives you a mini massage. I’m in the pool at least twice a week, and this deep cleanse always feels great and gets rid of any chlorine buildup. All of the products in this line smell great too!

What We’ve Been Up To

If you remember, last month, we were on the east coast visiting our daughter. A few days after we returned, we headed out to Las Vegas to visit my sister and celebrate her 50th birthday. Our birthdays are two weeks apart, and it was nice to spend them together. The weather was glorious, and most of the time we were hanging out by her pool. But, we did lots of Vegas things too!

The Las Vegas Community Healing Garden was a beautiful remembrance of the lives lost at the Route 91 Music Festival on October 1, 2017.

We ziplined above the legendary Fremont Street. Eleven stories up and 40 miles an hour. Being someone who does not like heights or speed, I was terrified, and I may or may not have been crying as they strapped me up. But, when I was almost to the end, I wised up and realized how fun it was!

Red Rock Canyon was magnificent.

The High Roller Ferris Wheel is the world’s tallest observation wheel with 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip. The wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one revolution. We reserved the bar car and went right before sunset.

The conservatory at the Bellagio hotel was beautiful.

I can’t remember where I saw this Tipsy Robot bar but thought it was a hoot!

I don’t have any photos, but we also saw Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil. It was amazing!

We blew through season 2 of Jack Ryan the weekend it was released and have moved on to season 1 of Peaky Blinders and season 3 of The Crown.

What I’m Doing This Weekend

My daughter and I have our annual Black Friday shopping tradition. We head out to the mall pretty early (7am) before it gets crowded, and we’re usually home by noon. Our family is celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday this year, and I’m looking forward to a day of relaxing, overeating, and watching movies. The Wizzard of Oz is one of my all-time favorites, and Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is a must! We’ll also be picking out a Christmas tree and decorating it before our daughter heads back to college on Sunday.
